Actor Daniel von Bargen, who’s most well-known for playing Mr. Kruger on ‘Seinfeld,’ was hospitalized following a failed suicide attempt, TMZ is reporting. The Ohio resident shot himself in the temple with a Col 38 on February 20, 2012, and called Hamilton County 911 after the attempt failed. During the 911 call, which TMZ has posted, von Bargen told the dispatcher that he shot himself to avoid going to the hospital, and the shooting wasn’t accidental.
